
Dr. Thomas Carothers is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has been seeing patients for over 21 years at our Cincinnati, Montgomery and Batesville, IN offices. He is active in various medical societies including the Ohio Medical Association, Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati, Clinical Orthopaedic Society and Ohio Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Carothers has participated in voluntary overseas medical missions work in India, Pakistan, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Kenya.
As an orthopaedic surgeon since 1971, Dr. Gregory Fisher has extensive experience. He is an active member of the Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He recently retired from regular practice and only sees IME patients in our Montgomery office. He has been a team physician for the Redskin Baseball Association since 1980. Dr. Fisher has also been team physician for Purcell Marian High School for many years. He likes to play golf, travel and loves to spend time with his grandchildren.
Dr. Edmund Schweitzer has been a team physician for Sycamore High School for many years. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati Medical School and a member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He continues a family tradition by being in general orthopaedic practice for over 25 years. Dr. Schweitzer is an enthusiastic tennis player and loves traveling to Charleston, SC. Dr. Schweitzer sees patients in our Hillsboro, OH and both of our Cincinnati offices.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1990, Dr. Nicholas Mirkopoulos sees patients in Montgomery, Mason and Batesville, IN. He is a teaching physician for the Bethesda Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. Dr. Mirkopoulos is a keen soccer player and treats sports injuries as well as general orthopaedic problems. Dr. Mirkopoulos is fluent in the Greek and Macedonian languages.
Dr. James Muccio came aboard at Tristate Orthopaedic Center in August, 2000. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Muccio was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in 2002. Before he decided to become an orthopaedic surgeon, he had a career as an aerospace engineer for 8 years, working for NASA and the European Space Agency. Dr. Muccio currently welcomes patients in our Montgomery, Mason and Hillsboro, OH offices. He loves to golf and spend time with his 3 children.
